JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) is a two-tier exam (Main & Advanced). Candidates can get admissions in B.Tech/B.Arch courses provided by NITs, IIITs and other engineering colleges/universities through JEE Main exam while IITs offer these programmes through JEE Advanced exam. JEE Main exam is also measured as a qualifying exam for JEE Advanced exam.

JEE Main 2017 Admit Card is available on the official website of JEE Main from 14th March 2017 onward. JEE Main 2017 is a national level entrance test conducted once in a year by the CBSE Board for candidates seeking admissions in undergraduate courses provided by the various engineering & architecture colleges of India. Only eligible applicants who have completed all the steps of the registration process and meet the eligibility criteria set by the admission committee will be able to download their admit cards. The JEE Main exam is scheduled to be conducted on April 2, 8 & 9, 2017.

JEE Main 2017 Admit Card

JEE Main admit card is provided by the CBSE Board via online mode only. The admit card has the details like the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date & timings, exam center, etc. Candidates must download the admit card from the official website. It is mandatory for candidates to carry the admit card at the examination center. Candidates who are unable to present the same at the examination center will not be allowed to sit for the exam. It is advisable to keep JEE Main admit card 2017 safe till the counseling and admission procedure is completed.

How to Download the Admit Card?

It is important to note that admit card will not be sent via post to any candidate and can only be downloaded through JEE official website. It is advised to download the admit card as quickly as possible so as to avoid last minute rush. Simply go through these steps to download JEE Main Admit Card 2017:

  • Visit the official link
  • A new window will be displayed on the screen.
  • Click on any one link (server 1 or server 2) to get the admit card.
  • Enter the required details like Application Number, Security Pin and Date of Birth.
  • Click on “Login” button.
  • The admit card with the candidate’s name and DOB will appear on the screen.
  • Download the admit card. Take extra printouts for future references.

Candidates must carefully check all the details provided in the admit card prior to downloading it. If there is any incongruity in the information present in the admit card, the applicants will then have to contact the JEE Main Secretariat. While downloading JEE Main admit card 2017, candidates will also be able to update their 12th standard examination roll number.
